Background
I think I always knew I wanted to work with children even if I wasn’t always 100% sure of the role. My undergraduate and graduate experiences reflect that wide ranging interest. I often find myself connecting concepts from my degrees in Literature, Elementary Education, and Language Development to my work with the Pennsylvania Key.

Experience
I began my professional path as a Kindergarten teacher in a school for Haitian refugees. When I returned to the USA, I spent some time managing corporate charitable giving before returning to community-based ECE work in Philadelphia. I joined the Pennsylvania Key as a Program Quality Assessor in the fall of 2007 and moved into my current role as PQA Supervisor in early 2015.

Fun Facts
My husband and I are enjoying the distinct pleasure of seeing our son thrive as an independent young adult and embracing empty-nest life. When we aren’t busy walking or playing with our two young German Shepherds or our great nieces and great nephews, we enjoy home renovation projects, gardening, museums and travel.
