Learn More. >Pennsylvania continues to strengthen its commitment to early childhood education (ECE) by investing in the workforce that supports young children and families every day. Pennsylvania’s 2025–26 state budget included new funding to help recruit and retain early childhood educators, recognizing their essential role in providing high-quality early learning experiences across the Commonwealth.
These investments highlight the importance of a stable, supported workforce in ensuring young children have access to safe, nurturing environments where they can learn and grow during their most formative years.
To bring awareness to and elevate the profession, two new videos have been released, showcasing the powerful impact early childhood educators have on children and families. These stories shine a spotlight on the dedication, care, and expertise educators bring to their work each day—and why continued investment in this workforce matters for Pennsylvania’s future. ECE partners are encouraged to share the videos within their community to promote the importance of Pennsylvania’s early childhood investment.
