Background
I have a Bachelor of Art in Spanish and Psychology from Colgate University, and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education and Curriculum and Instruction from Shippensburg University. I also have a teaching certification in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language.

Experience
I started working as a Program Quality Assessor the beginning of 2019. Prior to this position, I had worked directly with children, families, and educators in my role as: a virtual ESL teacher teaching English to children in China; a Kindergarten and First grade teacher; a district-wide Kindergarten Readiness Facilitator; and a School Parent Liaison, to name a few. Within each position, I truly enjoyed forming relationships and making a difference, no matter how big or small.

Fun Facts
I am a first generation Dominican-American, born and raised in NYC thanks to my beautiful mother and father; who sacrificed so much to ensure my siblings and I had a better chance in life. At some point, life led me to the Lehigh Valley, where my husband and I decided to settle to grow our family. We became the lucky parents of our two amazing daughters who keep us on our toes with adventures and wonders. As a family, we love to spend time together, and break-bread and have fun with our friends and extended family. We enjoy activities such as: singing, dancing, playing games, reading books, writing, cooking/baking, watching movies and shows, swimming, traveling to different parts of the world… and so much more.
