OCDEL understands that many Family Child Care Home (FCCH) and Group Child Care Homes (GCCH) operating in a residence have continued to provide care to employees of life sustaining businesses during COVID-19. It has been brought to OCDEL’s attention that in some communities, providers have been approached about providing documentation they are permitted to continue operating.
Please use the FCCH Continuing Operations Verification letter in the event you are requested to provide documentation. OCDEL is mailing this communication to all FCCH and GCCH who have not indicated they are closed. If you are not operating, providers must report their closure to RA-PWOCDELFacilclose@pa.gov .
