I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bloomsburg University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern University. During my time in graduate school I also focused on a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
I have about 15 years of experience in the mental health and social service field. I began working in settings where I learned about ABA and its application with children. I loved being a part of a child’s progress towards social-emotional growth, but I also noticed that growth would not have been possible without family engagement. So, I decided to focus on my capacity to build relationships with adults and obtain more clinical training. When I learned about IECMHC, I was very intrigued and excited to merge my skills in this area. I am also interested in developing my knowledge and skills in the field of equity work within IECMHC.
I am fluently bilingual (Spanish & English) and of Hispanic descent. I have a younger brother who has Autism and IDD. I live with my husband, teenage son and two dogs. My favorite place to eat is at The Pike Café in Reading, PA.
