Child Care Works Payment During the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Purpose

To provide updated information to child care programs participating in Child Care Works (CCW) through the Early Learning Resource Centers (ELRC), as described in ELRC Announcement 20-17.

This policy does not apply to providers who are temporarily closed.

Background

As of June 15, 2021, the Governor Wolf’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency ended. The policy ELRC 20-17 to providers participating in CCW was linked to the duration of that Disaster Proclamation.

Discussion

General

In order to be responsive to transitions resulting from the end of the Disaster Proclamation on June 15, 2021, this announcement serves as communication that all policies and procedures identified in ELRC Announcement 20-17 will continue until the Office of Child Development and Early Learning issues a separate announcement rescinding the COVID-19 related policies and the suspension of regulatory waivers.

All information in ELRC Announcement 20-17 continues to remain in effect with the following exception:
