Child Care Ventilation Recommendations

CDC has a resource on ventilation in schools and child care facilities, which pulls information from across various CDC webpages to a centralized location. The resource covers five key strategies schools and child care programs can use to improve ventilation in their programs. Key strategies described in more detail include: 1) Bring in as much outdoor air as possible, 2) Ensure Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) settings are maximizing ventilation, 3) Filter and/or clean the air in your school or childcare program, 4) Use exhaust fans in restrooms and kitchens, and 5) Open windows in transportation vehicles.
